Collection: Recipe - Vegetarian / Vegan Koftas
Makes 2-3 servings
Ingredients
- 1 pack of Ȧrta Bȯna Plant Based Ground
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 small bunch of coriander, parsley and mint roughly chopped
- 5g (1 tsp.) ground cumin
- 5g (1 tsp.) ground cilantro
- 3g (½ tsp.) paprika
- 6 skewers
- 6 pita breads
- 2 tomatoes cut into quarters
- 200 ml of plain vegetable yogurt
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the Ȧrta Bȯna Plant Based Ground in a bowl.
- Add the chopped onion and half of the fresh herbs.
- Add the spices (cumin, coriander powder, salt, pepper and paprika)
- Well mix everything.
- With lightly wet hands, form 6 equal balls. Take a ball of Plant Based Ground, roll it between your hands to form a long sausage. Pass the koftas through the skewer. Repeat.
- Grill the koftas 3 minutes on each side in a skillet over medium-high heat or on the BBQ.
- Serve it all on a pita bread with the tomatoes. Sprinkle with yogurt and garnish with fresh herbs.
